The Sandblasted Largegrid and Acid-etched treatment is made by withe corundum sandblasting, followed by acid-etching, in order to help osteointegration process.

As shown is SEM magnification, the peaks are few microns high, smaller than cellular dimension. In the sandblasted-made cavities, microcavities are made by acid-etching. This rough surface improves healing process.
